Memorial services for Patricia Diane Holland, 73, of Etoile will be held privately with Pastors Pam Lundberg and Sherrill Kennedy Johnston officiating. Mrs. Holland passed away peacefully and went to be with our Lord and Savior on Wednesday, March 11, 2026. Born on March 24, 1952, in Palatka, Florida, Tricia—as she was affectionately known by her family and friends—was the cherished daughter of the late Walt Roberts and Eunice (Barrs) Dugas.
Tricia dedicated much of her career to Southwestern Bell, where she excelled as a lobbyist and project manager, and was an active volunteer on various local boards, including the Pearland Chamber of Commerce, Pearland Economic Development, and the Galveston Area Chamber of Commerce. Her commitment to community extended to assisting with political campaigns and serving as a Pearland ISD School Board Trustee. Tricia was renowned for her elegance, grace, and eloquence—a true Southern Belle in every sense.
After retiring from Southwestern Bell, Tricia continued to make an indelible mark by joining her daughters at Bechtel Energy, where her leadership and warmth touched the lives of many colleagues. Above all, Tricia treasured her role as a mother, a title she cherished the most until she became “Nana”—a promotion she considered the greatest of all. She adored her grandchildren and delighted in sharing their accomplishments with everyone she met. Upon her second retirement from Bechtel, Tricia devoted her days to attending her grandchildren’s events, spending time working around the property with her devoted husband, David, and creating new recipes with her daughter, Amber.
Tricia is preceded in death by her father, Walter Roberts; stepfather, Charles Dugas; and brother, Gene Roberts. She is survived by her loving husband, David Holland; daughters, Amber Zulkowski (and son-in-law Cody Zulkowski,) and Tiffany Shawver; son, Aaron Leago; mother, Eunice Dugas; brother, Walt Roberts (and sister-in-law Sue Roberts); grandchildren, Destin Leago, Mikayla Shawver, Michael Shawver, Colton Zulkowski, and Audrey Zulkowski; great-grandson, Sutton Morgan; as well as numerous in-laws, nieces, and nephews.
Honorary pallbearers will be Colton Zulkowski and Michael Shawver.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to the ALS Association, Team Gleason, or any other ALS research program.
Tricia was a devoted wife, mother, Nana, and friend whose kindness and compassion will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her family looks forward to the day they will reunite with her in Heaven and celebrate with the warmest embrace.
