Graveside services for Vickie (Grimes) Hensarling, 67, of Lufkin, will be held Tuesday, September 9, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. at Crain Cemetery in Huntington with Bro. Keith Woolf officiating.

          Mrs. Hensarling was born on March 14, 1958, in Lufkin, Texas, to the late Carl Ray Grimes and Robbie Mae (Jones) Grimes, and died Friday, September 5, 2025, in Lufkin.

          Mrs. Hensarling was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She loved to travel anywhere with mountains or snow and especially loved visiting Colorado and Alaska. Mrs. Hensarling was an avid Dallas Cowboys and Houston Astros fan.  She had a passion for planting flowers and wreath making.

          Mrs. Hensarling is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and Travis Kelley of Lufkin; daughter, Heather Hensarling of Lufkin; granddaughter and husband, Brianna and Aaron Patterson of Lufkin; great-granddaughter, Jaci Lynn Patterson of Lufkin; nephew, Tyler Grimes of Lufkin; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

          She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, David Hensarling; brother, William Grimes; and sister, Karen Glista.

          Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Monday, September 8, 2025, at Shafer Funeral Home in Lufkin.
