Victoria Ramos

         Funeral services for Victoria Ramos, 67, of Lufkin, will be held Monday, January 12, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Shafer Funeral Home with Deacon Jesus Reyes officiating. Interment will follow at Largent Cemetery in Lufkin.

          Ms. Ramos was born on April 15, 1958, in Concepcion de Oriente, El Salvador, to the late Bernabe Vanegas and the late Maria (Felix) Ramos, and died Tuesday, January 6, 2026, in Lufkin, Texas.

          Victoria loved dancing, attending Zumba classes and taking long walks. She enjoyed baking and was a big coffee drinker. She was a dedicated and loving dog owner and spent most of her free time with her older sister, Fransisca. She loved going to church and spent as much time as she could with her beloved granddaughters.

          Ms. Ramos is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Joey and Rosa Vanegas; son, Bobby Lee Ramos; grandchildren, Xiomara Ramos, Anahlee Ramos, and Ezekiel Lee Ramos; Fransisca Alfano; Sara Vanegas; Paula Vanegas; Teoricia Vanegas; Marcial Ramos; Filadelfo Ramos; Victor Ramos; Lucilla Ramos; and numerous nieces and nephews.

          She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Israel Vanegas; and brother, Juan Vanegas.

          Pallbearers will be Joey Vanegas, Uriel Ramos, Orlando Vanegas, Filadolfo Del Torro, Israel Vanegas, Jr., Cris Vanegas, Eron Santoyo, and Gerardo Muñoz.

          Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Sunday, January 11, 2026, at Shafer Funeral Home.
