A Celebration of Life for Wanda Lee Fuller, 88, of Diboll, will be held Saturday, April 18, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Shafer Funeral Home in Lufkin, Texas with Brother Steve Comstock and Brother Rodger Goins officiating. Interment will follow at Damascus Cemetery in Corrigan.
Mrs. Fuller was born on March 9, 1938, in Glenwood, Arkansas, to the late Claude Ray Story and the late Minnie Viola (Barrett) Story, and died Saturday, April 11, 2026, in Lufkin, Texas.
Wanda was a secretary for State Farm Insurance- Nathan Edwards in Diboll for over twenty years. She also proudly served as the secretary for the First Assembly of God Church in Burke, Texas. In addition to those roles, her career also included working as a registered supervisor for K-Mart in Lufkin and a tax consultant for H&R Block.
Mrs. Fuller loved to cook for her family and members of her church, and she enjoyed tending the flowers in her flower beds. She used her musical talents to sing and play piano for her church. She was a light for God in all that she did. Wanda was a devoted wife to her husband of 70 years, Mr. Charles Fuller, and she was beloved mother, sister, aunt, and grandmother. She treated everyone she met with kindness, and she loved her family dearly.
She is survived by her husband, Charles A. Fuller of Diboll; daughter, Karen Denise Fuller of Spring, Texas; daughter-in-law, Zina Fuller of Spring, Texas; grandson, Merak Fuller of Spring, Texas; and a host of nieces, nephews, and family who loved her as a mother and sister.
Wanda was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Bonnie Dean Fuller, Modean Martin, Dessie Mae Grigsby, and Mildred Crump Reed; brothers, Lloyd Story, Ray Eugene (Gene) Story, and A.J. McKenzie.
Pallbearers will be Merak Fuller, Robert Fuller, Josh Allen Clark, Travis Coffman, Monty Coffman, and Trevor Fuller.
Honorary pallbearers will be Benny Dickens, Jerry Fuller, Don Fuller, and Gary Stokes.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., Saturday, April 18, 2026, at Shafer Funeral Home.
