Mr. Goldsberry was a jack of all trades. If it was broken he could fix it. He loved the beach and looked forward to the annual family trip. Mr. Goldsberry was a member of the U.S. Army and served in the Korean War, where  he was awarded a purple heart for his service in the Korean War. Mr. Goldsberry retired after 35 years as a maintenance supervisor at the Texas Highway Department. What we will remember most about him is that he was a loving father. Mr. Goldsberry will be missed by many.

He is survived by his wife, Charlene Goldsberry, daughter and son-in-law, June and Jim Turner, daughter, Phyllis Boyer, daughter and son-in-law, Amy and Brandon Tyer, daughter and son-in-law, Sarah and Clayton Sargent, daughter, Sheri Smith, great-grandchildren, Elyssa Turner, Noah Turner, Sadie Tyer, Brody Tyer, Parker Sargent, and Wyatt Sargent.
