William "Bill" Frazier

          Funeral services for William “Bill” Frazier, 95, of Lufkin, will be held Friday, July 5, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at Shafer Funeral Home in Lufkin with Rev. Jack Knox officiating. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. at Garden Park Cemetery in Conroe, Texas, following the funeral service.

          Mr. Frazier was born on May 7, 1929, in Tenaha, Texas, to the late George Dewey Frazier and Hattie (Porter) Frazier, and died Friday, June 28, 2024, in Huntington, Texas.

          Mr. Frazier proudly served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was a member of First Christian Church and served many congregations. Mr. Frazier retired from Dow Chemical. In his spare time, he loved to camp and square dance with his wife. Mr. Frazier also enjoyed fishing and traveling the United States.

          He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Jacque Frazier of Lufkin; daughter and son-in-law, Karrie and Jimmy Schroeder of Lufkin; son and daughter-in-law, Keith and Emma Frazier of Lake Jackson, TX; granddaughter and husband, Annie and Russell Allen; grandson and wife, Tony and Anja Schroeder; grandson and wife, Anthony and Amanda Frazier; grandson and fiancé, Andrew Schroeder and Christina Canzoneri; grandson, Jacob Schroeder; grandson, Aaron Frazier; grandson, Matthew Schroeder; granddaughter and fiancé, Mariah Schroeder and Darren Robins; 6 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Dorothy Denton; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

          Mr. Frazier was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Joe Frazier and George Frazier.

          In lieu of flowers, special memorials may be made to Hospice in the Pines, 1504 W. Frank Ave., Lufkin, Texas 75904.

          Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., Friday, July 5, 2024, at Shafer Funeral Home in Lufkin, prior to the funeral service.
